NACC men’s golf team turns in season-best team finish
Mustangs place 10th in Enterprise State Spring Series
The Northeast Alabama Community College men's golf team turned in a season-best team finish during its latest tournament.
The Mustangs finished 10th in the 2026 Enterprise State Spring Series Monday and Tuesday at The Bridges at Tartan Pines golf course in Enterprise.
Due to weather issues, the three-round tournament featured 27 holes of play each day.
NACC, ranked No. 43 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II men's golf national rankings, climbed one spot in the team standings after the first day of play thanks to a solid Day 2.
Ethan Roberts led the NACC effort with a three-round score of 26-over par. The sophomore shot a 7-over par 79 in the third and final round on his way to finishing 37th in the tournament's individual standings.
Freshman Reece McKlintok shot an 8-over par 80 in Round 3 to finish 55th (36-over) while freshman Braden Holt tied for 56th (37-over), sophomore Greyson Widgeon tied for 63rd (45-over) and sophomore Reed Potter finished 68th (50-over).
The Mustangs will be back on the course March 30-31 to compete in the Calhoun Men's Spring Classic at Burningtree Country Club in Decatur.
